7 More Fabric Scrap Ideas

Check out these cool fabric wrapped balls…what a great way to use some of those fabric scraps you’ve been stashing. Yes, I know you have a pile just like I do!

I’m always looking for new ways to use my little bits of fabric. Some of the designer fabrics are too beautiful to waste even a scrap! To make these you just need foam balls in two sizes and some glue. Pick your favorite fabric and start attaching the scraps with glue until you love it! That’s simple enough!

All you need for this neat fabric bowl is fabric, cotton cord, and simple thread. You can find the complete instructions here. Is anyone else thinking “great gift” looking at this photo? Love it!

I’ve been thinking about making some fabric scrap gift tags and I love the way Creature Comforts did these! The possibilities are endless!

What have you done with with your fabric scraps? I’d love to hear some new ideas…I see more fabric scraps in my future. 🙂

I recently made my first patchwork coasters with scraps and have a feeling I’ll be making many more scraps.

I also daydream about making a quilt of tiny scrap squares…but I think that’ll stay a daydream for a long time. 😉

Ha – don’t know how to edit that last comment, but I meant I’ll be making many more SETS…not scraps.

Haha Diana, I’ll take your scraps! 🙂 I can’t seem to throw any of mine away and do end up using them for a lot of things! And I did recently make a doll sized quilt out of a bunch of them! And now I’ve got more projects to try, I love those wrapped foam balls and gift tags!

Wonderful and inspiring ideas! I love to use small scraps as the backgrounds on the front of handmade cards, just use pinking shears along the edge, so simple, but cute!
