Craft Studio Love – Cotton Blue

You are going to love this dreamy craft room all the way from Japan!  I don’t even know how I found Cotton Blue this today, but it made my morning looking at her beautiful photos!

I have a love of all distressed furniture and when you paint it in lovely shades of blue and green my heart goes all pitter patter!

Here’s the recipe for a beautiful craft room…

ScreenHunter_01 Oct. 13 11.49

Start with some amazing fabric all stacked and ready to use…

ScreenHunter_04 Oct. 13 11.56

Throw in lots and lots of it with ribbon, a dash of lace, and a sprinkle of other fun goodies…

ScreenHunter_05 Oct. 13 11.58

Add an amazing desk to work at…

And you get this fabulous craft room that’s out-of-this-world spectacular!

ScreenHunter_02 Oct. 13 11.50

You can all stop drooling now and head over to her Etsy shop {currently on vacation…sorry} where you’ll find tons of pretty things that you NEED.

Check out more photos from Cotton Blue here.

Don’t you find beautiful craft room photos inspiring?  How about photos of craft supplies?

~Kim

I love this crafting room and all of them that are being shown. I would love to have my studio space which is supposed to be the garage we just moved I though I would have that space but we’ve got so much stuff in there that we couldn’t get into the house so for now I’m back to working in the dinning room or the patio which I love that but it’s getting to cold. We’ve got to get the garage straighted out so I can still have that space.

Not only does the room look yummy and inviting – I envy the fact that it is straight and organized. That’s my problem. I have a lovely space, but it usually looks like an explosion hit it.

I’m an illustrator and my studio looks completely different: canvases, painting plates, brushes, pencils.
Although I don’t use fabrics, I find this studio so inspiring, actually makes me feel putting bunches of them in my studio as well….

Gorgeous and inspiring…someday I would love to have a space like this to create in. I love how all the fabric, trims, etc are in full view, not stored away in bins. Definitely helps to fuel the creative spirit!
    Thanks for sharing the prettiness!!

I love those colors and the “old fashion” look. It is so calming. Thanks for the inspiration.
