DIY Fabric Mask Tutorials

In this craziness right now you might be looking to make some DIY fabric masks for your friends and family.  I soooo get that!  Here are some super simple tutorials to help you make them in minutes.  But, don’t take my word for it, try one yourself.

Here are a few of my top picks from crafty people that are making batches and batches of masks.

DIY Mask Tutorial by Melanie Ham

This homemade face mask from Melanie Ham has a video tutorial.  Easy peasy!

DIY Mask Pattern and Photo Tutorial

Button Counter has a photo tutorial that will take you through each step.  Sometimes I find that easier since I don’t have to stop and start a video a bunch as I’m learning something new. Get the step-by-step instructions and pattern right here.

DIY face mask with wire - tutorial and video

Looking for one that has a wire included? Check out this video tutorial from Salty Mom.

DIY no sew face mask using a bandana

No sewing machine?  No problem!  This quick bandana face mask might be just what you need.  Get the full tutorial at Love Maegan.

You will find a great deal on elastic right here for the bands.  I’ve purchased from Amazon more than once for this product!  It’s so much better than going out to the store!  {affiliate link…thanks!}

Since my sewing machine is broken I went to the next best option.  I ordered some from an Etsy shop!

DIY Fabric Mask

I placed a couple orders with Allyson at Stick It On.  She’s a wonderful Etsy seller, and I highly recommend her masks.  They have wire, they’re handmade with care and she ships fast!  Visit Stick It On first if you would rather purchase some today.

These might not be the perfect masks to wear into a hospital, but I do think they’re great for walking your dog or a quick trip to the grocery store.

Have you made masks?  I’d love to hear about them.  Feel free to leave a link to your blog post in the comments.

Stay safe and healthy!

~Kim
