Got Beads? {Bead Storage}

Do you have beads? Well, I have a ton and I haven’t made a bracelet in years. But, I’m planning to change that tomorrow!

Recently we were going through boxes tucked away and out of sight in a storage unit. I discovered a collection of soap making molds, a box of fabric cut for a quilt, and a storage bag full of fabulous beads. It was like finding a treasure!

I forgot just how many beads I had and how I managed to choose them one by one from a bead store when my children were small. How could I forget bribing them with candy as I shopped?

Some of my favorite storage solutions include cases or baskets so I can easily take them with me when we travel. I love this bead case!

After a few years of sitting in storage {inside one of those ugly plastic boxes} all my beads still look brand new! And the bag is still in great condition!

This perfect bead storage case kept them all sorted by color and type just the way I like it. I won’t even have to make a trip to the store to get started because all my tools and supplies are stored in the side pockets.

I was really surprised to see that my silver beads didn’t tarnish while they were in storage. After all, this is Florida and we’re right by the water. Everything has rust on it around here!

That’s a look at how I store my beads, but on Friday I’ll show you some beautiful bead storage ideas. It may not be the prettiest storage idea, but it works for me!

I love this idea. I have major bead issues!

I have a similar system, but it’s just one box! I don’t have nearly the collection you have. Can’t wait to see what you create!

Oooh….sparkles! ;)

I have a closet full of beads, mostly in plastic boxes like the ones you showed – - those just work so well to keep everything separate, but easy to look at.

Looking forward to seeing more beady storage ideas.
