25 {More} Ikea Hacks–DIY Home Decor

25 More Ikea Hacks on EverythingEtsy.com (1)

Ikea hacks are the best DIY home decor projects!  You can take simple furniture from Ikea and turn it into something amazing in no time at all!  Oh, and they’re usually cheap…a very good thing indeed!

Need a weekend project?  You’ll find it here. {or here in our first list of Ikea hacks}

Lack table hacks are super cheap and turn out looking like you spent a pretty penny for them when you’re finished.  Ikea bookcases are my favorite storage solutions ever!  You can simply decorate the back panels or go all out and create a beautiful wall of built-in bookcases.

Check out these 25 Ikea hacks to help you decide on your next DIY home decor project…

25 Ikea Hacks {DIY Home Decor}

We were at Ikea over the weekend for things to spruce up our porch. My husband practically has to give me a time limit so we don’t need two carts! I’m sure there are times when he wishes there wasn’t an Ikea near us!

Do you have any Ikea hacks in your home?  I’d love to hear about them in the comments! Go ahead and share a link to one of your projects if you have a blog.

    Just in case you have another roundup, here is the Restoration Hardware Inspired Ikea PS locker cabinet that I gave a faux aged steel paint finish to. It’s in my 2 younger boys’ shared bedroom. I love the other ones you found! I’m pinning your roundups!

    I love all of these ideas! A similar hack I made was to take the ikea lack coffee table and paint it with chalkboard paint! It makes a great conversation piece, and I have artistically blessed friends who draw awesome things on it. I also love it for jotting phone numbers down etc. All I did was paint it with a few coats of chalkboard paint and voila! I did learn that you can’t use the wet chalkboard markers, only real chalk works. The other stuff stains.

    Well when I turned this Ikea Lack table into something else I didn’t know I was hacking. The cold little table turned into a warm sweet little table http://aldanadecorativeart.com/2013/02/14/making-of-little-table/

    Hacks are such a great way to upgrade affordable pieces! We remade our Billy Bookshelf and it’s now one of our favorite pieces in our home. Check it out here: http://www.nataliecottrell.blogspot.com/2013/05/diy-bookshelf-makeover.html! Great round up! 🙂
