DIY Felt Back-to-School Supplies

Make back-to-school extra special with a few handmade school supplies!  Create custom felt magnets for their lockers!  I keep these little magnets on my refrigerator to share recent family photos.  They would also be perfect to for helping display your child’s artwork.

feltbookmarks11_thumbYou can’t have too many felt bookmarks!  These are so easy to make and they make excellent gifts!  I love the idea of giving them with a bookstore gift card or a special book.  You can’t find cool supplies like these at your local store.  I heart handmade…just sayin’!

Little initial felt notebooks are perfect for class notes and assignments.  Once you start making these you’ll need to make more for all your friends and family {just warning you!} because everyone will want one of their own!

I just got home from enduring the back-to-school madness…not fun! I homeschool my boys so I should have stayed away but the sales got my attention.  I love a good sale, but I don’t love crowds!

Have you made anything for your children or teacher friends for back-to-school?

~Kim

Cute ideas! I saw a tutorial to make a cute apple jar from a clay pot and saucer, think I’m going to make one of those for Hailey to give her preschool teacher. 🙂
