What I Bought & Other Vintage Finds {Etsy Love}

By Kim Layton 7 Comments

Some of the best customers for your shop are other Etsy sellers!

Have you ever noticed how much you purchase from other sellers? {Go ahead, just admit it!} Once you know just how wonderful Etsy is and how easy it is to find great handmade & vintage gifts…you’re hooked!

I was working on this post when I found this…

I stopped in the middle of the post and bought it! LabelStone is a great shop! This is a fabulous vintage label used on fruit crates in the 30’s and 40’s! {It’s a gift for my mom…shhhh!}

Growing up in Florida makes all of these vintage citrus goodies bring back fun family memories. Here’s a look a few more of the beautiful vintage citrus items I ran across…

The Wee Shelf has this sweet lemon ceramic teapot. It would look amazing in my kitchen!

You can find this 1940’s aluminum citrus juicer at VintageInVogue…love it! My kids would have fun with this!

This vintage oilcloth tablecloth from Forrestina Vintage would set the right mood for a great summer lunch outside! It’s in beautiful shape!

These are just too sweet…vintage salt and pepper shakers from West Side Vintage! I might NEED these!

I love how easy it is to find vintage items that would look great in my colorful house. Everyone has a different style and Etsy’s keyword search makes it so simple to find what you’re looking for!

A couple tips for sellers…

  • Photos make a world of difference…If you are an Etsy seller please make time to take outstanding photos! You won’t be wasting your effort! {Etsy Photo Tips}
  • Use all your tags…that’s how people find you!

Have you bought anything on Etsy lately? Tell us about it…you can even share a link to the shop!

    Wow that is some cool stuff. My favorite is the tablecloth it would really go with a bag hook I saw. Bag hooks are the best they look so cool and come in many different designs.

    What a fun post! Just found your blog tonight searching for my shop in Yahoo! Thanks for including my citrus oilcloth in your summertime Etsy picks. And, yes, I’m a big Etsy fan–buying and selling. 🙂
