Simple Packaging Ideas — Gift Garland

simple packaging ideas! ~ gift garland ~ Everything Etsy.com (1)

Want to wrap your gifts with a little more pizzazz this year? I’m always on the hunt for something different.  This idea leaves your recipient with a bonus item when the fun of opening presents is all said and done! A super cute mini garland … and who on your list doesn’t like garland? … ok, maybe your dad, but everyone else will love it, right?!

There’s not much to this project, and just a few basic supplies are needed:  baker’s twine or yarn, mini cupcake papers, washi tape and some paperclips.

Smooth out the liners and fold them in half.  Use a small piece of washi tape to embellish, and clip the paper to the twine with the paperclips … that’s it!

Wind it around your gift, making it as long or as short as you like … for some more color tie scraps of fabric on the ends.  Super fun, super simple … just the words we want to hear during this busy time of year 🙂
