Craft Cabinet

Isn’t this a pretty? Keep your craft and scrapbooking supplies in a beautiful craft cabinet. Everyone needs one of these…or maybe two!

Keeping everything you need all in one spot make crafting so much more fun.  You gotta be ready for when the creative mood strikes, ya know?

Organization can also keep you from buying more craft supplies because you can’t find what you need at home in your creative mess {not that I would know about that}.

Hanging pegboard up on the inside of the doors will help you get the most out of your space. Scrapbooking tools can stay out of sight in this cabinet, but still be easy to get to when you’re ready to create.

Don’t waste that space on the side! You can add a magnetic strip with containers to hold all those little embellishments.  This photo shows a work-in progress pouch…not a bad idea!

Whether you keep all your craft or scrapbooking supplies in this one cabinet or you use it as part of a much larger craft room, you’ll be able to store lots of goodies in a small space while keeping it pretty!

Pretty & Organized…that rocks!

Would you need one craft cabinet or two??

One small craft cabinet would definitely not be enough. Right now I am using a closet, 2 shelves in the laundry room and every flat surface I can find! 🙂

Um…. I think I actually need 3 or 4 to be honest and also about twice as much space as I already have to put everything in… as it is I’ll have to make do with the shelving and drawers that we’ve put together behind our couch in the living room for now.

Ah, like 6. Yeah, I would need about 6 of them. Right now I do have an awesome metal cabinet that I selected from my grandma’s house. It’s very old, it has an old KMart price tag in the corner, partially worn off. I’m keeping it there, shows it age. One magic eraser and now it’s full. Due to it being metal I can place magnets on both sides of memos, pics, ect. These cabinets are a must have for all crafters!

    Sigh….

How I dReAm of one day having a lovely crafting room with lovely crafting furniture to hold my crafty crafting items in nice, arranged fashion….

    Fear not… I DO have a plan!!

    1. Wait for teenagers to go to college (tick-tock, tick-tock…)

    2. Change name to something besides “Moooommmmmm…..”

    3. Change locks on doors.

    4. If teenagers return one day, answer the door disguised and speaking French. I’ve been practicing this one: “Bonjour. Peux-je vous aider? Maman? Non Maman ici. Je suis desole.” (This roughly means: Hello? May I help you? Mom? No mom here. I’m sorry.)

    Plan B (Husband’s plan):
Ditch the house and move to Barbados.

I knew I loved that man for a reason!

I love this! It’s super cute.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the piece that’s holding all the ribbons? I don’t know what it’s called nor where to buy one. I saw one like this used in another craft room and they stored their rubber stamps. I love the look of it!

Honestly I would need 5 or 6. Right now I have 3 big shelving units holding all my yarn and unfortunately my scrapbooking stuff is in the office closet and a few other places in the house and therefore it doesn’t get used as much as I like.

    Thanks for sharing.
