Ribbon Collection Inspiration – Let’s Get Organized!

Yesterday we talked about a nifty way to organize your ribbon that included a Ribbon Ring giveaway. Today we’ll take a look at some beautiful ways to organize and decorate with your ribbon collection at the same time.

I’m a big fan of any glass container full of pretty things. Don’t you love that look? You really can’t go wrong with this if your collection is small.

I found this neat idea at Triple See. I love the color of the frame and the old door knobs! What a creative way to show off your collection of ribbon…and it’s even color coordinated!

Cubly had this great inspirational photo. I’ll give you a second or two to dream about it….Okay, back to the real world. I don’t have a space as pretty as this one, but maybe I could use this basket idea somewhere. The colorful ribbon looks great in it. Everything is relaxed, but organized…pretty, pretty!

Here’s a quick idea for your craft area, or for wrapping presents without having to search all over for the right ribbon. {I might have that problem on a regular basis.} Paper towel holders are a great way to stack them up and use keep them ready to use.

What a creative way to hang rolls of ribbon…a towel holder! You could put this anywhere and it’s bound to look great! {photo by Creating Keepsakes}

Wrap your small scraps of ribbon around wooden clothes pins. I’ve even seen these in jars…it makes me feel creative just looking at this photo by Inspired Apertrey Ink.

This collection of ribbon is mounted on the inside of a beautiful yellow craft cabinet that we featured in a previous post. If you don’t have much space, you’ve got to see it! It’s jam packed with great storage ideas!

I’ve seen shoe boxes turned into ribbon dispensers, small ribbon wrapped around popsicle sticks, plastic storage containers, and so much more.

There are so many ways to store ribbon, how do you do it?

Don’t forget to check out the Ribbon Ring giveaway!

    What great images and ideas for your ribbons! I remember that one from Creating Keepsakes and they look more like a piece of art than storage. I love that!!

    The paper towel holder might just be the best idea yet! The towel hooks with ribbon are probably the prettiest.

    Beautiful! I cut dowels and ran them through the ends of large showboxes after threading the spools on them. Semi-neat. I love how in all the pix, the ends aren’t showing or dangling….hmmmm!
