My website is not yet developed, but I’ve been planning this since before I retired last November. I love the internet and its capabilities to better “small business owners” ~ I worked in city government for 24 years and economic development the past. I make jewelry and architectural adornment. I may not be unique. . . firmly believe there is nothing new under the sun, and we can all inspire one another. I love the things I create, and I am good at what I do. In the late 80’s, I had someone “steal” my designs. She has continued over the years and become quite successful. Meanwhile, I went through a period of rearing five kids alone, getting my job to do so, and going back to college to get a B.A. in business. Now I can do what I love. My intent is to get paid for it, but, much more than that, it brings me joy, and I hope what I create will bring the same to others. I am on Pinterest, and will be posting my work there, as well as via Etsy (same name but never put up a thing. . .just a buyer so far!) I wanted to build up my inventory before posting, as I also believe that you have only one first chance. I have a small community of customers (even a poshy store that wants to have an exclusive on my things . . . will negotiate. . . nobody will own me. . .), and that is flattering. I KNOW small business: have owned a gallery before my job job, administered legal and entrepreneurial business programs, etc. Now let’s see if I can meld my experience with my creative abilities. Thank you for your work. It’s good. Blessings. Sandy
