DIY Pocket Notebook– Great for Vacation Memories!

By Kim Layton 5 Comments

DIY Pocket Notebook - EverythingEtsy.com

Create a quick pocket notebook to keep all those summer vacation trinkets, tickets and memories!  I made this in minutes and it was so much fun!  You can make one for each vacation and add it to the front of your photo album or make a few with the kids for them to fill up.

Here a quick little “how-to” to let you see just how easy it can be…

Pocket Notebook DIY on EverythingEtsy.com

Buy a package of pockets.  Gather up some pretty scrapbook paper, a hole punch, ribbon and a few embellishments.

  • Glue your pockets back to back {mine had double sided tape on the back}.
  • Add a pretty piece of scrapbook paper to the front and the back.
  • Add a few stickers or embellishments.
  • Line them up and punch two holes on the side.
  • Run a ribbon through the holes and tie a bow.
  • Fill it up with memories!

Fill up the pockets and write wherever for your own personal pocket notebook.

I hope everyone had a fabulous summer full of fun and good family times!

We went on a road trip and had a blast!

What did you do?  I’m sure you have a few ticket stubs, stickers and other goodies to fill up a pocket notebook!

Now I’m looking forward to fall.  August in Florida is not my favorite…lol!

Hi Christy, I asked Kim about those pockets and she said she’s had them so long she’s not sure where she got them, but she thinks she’s seen them at Micheal’s. Not much help, we know! 🙂
