Alright…really, who doesn’t love vintage thread?  Whether it’s sitting out on your table or in a beautiful bowl or jar, thread is a good thing!

Decorating with these beauties can be so much fun and provide bit of inspiration at the same time.

Here’s a few thread loving ideas I ran across that you might want to try…

This is a fabulous mirror adorned with spools of thread.  How creative! { I Love to Create}  It’s one of those projects that looks like a million bucks and only takes a a hour or so…perfect, don’t you think?

What a great idea for craft night with your friends…a centerpiece created with colorful spools of thread. { Project Bride}  Just find a few skinny glass vases or test tubes and stack on the thread!  Top it off with a few flowers and you’ll be considered the most creative girl on the block.

A simple wreath designed with lovely spools of thread is a great way to bring a little creativity into your craft room.  You can find a tutorial at Style Crush.

Don’t you love this one?  Crafty Chica created a beautiful wreath of thread.  You can take one off, use it, and put it right back…love that!

Have fun with these!

What do you do with your collection of thread?

I love to do this! I have jars and jars of thread and even bare wooden spools all over my house—from the bathroom to the craft room! It’s just such a simple and easy touch to any space.

They look fabulous, but since I am a tatter and often use sewing thread for tatting, I can’t help but think of all the things I could make with the thread. The decorations would have me stressing out! LOL
