Disney’s Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

Disney Epcot Flower Show 2011

I know some of you have been experiencing a snowy start to Spring, but we’ve had beautiful weather for awhile now…sorry to rub it in!

My sweet husband, Tim, just celebrated his 40th birthday with a trip to Disney World…of course.  Stay young at heart, right?!

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is so amazing I had to share the experience with you a bit.  We liked it enough to make two trips there in the last couple weeks!

I love the flower mixture in this section.  It reminds me of the beautiful wildflowers that bloom near Aspen, Colorado in the summer.  Now I just need to transplant a million flowers to my front yard so it will have the same look…no problem!

I had to take a photo of Pooh…I’m a big fan!

How did a photo of my backyard slip into this post? Ha!  I can’t imagine how much time this would take and my dogs would get lost trying to find their way back to the door!

This section gives me flower pot envy big time.  I LOVE IT!

Here we are…a little tired, but having a blast.  My in-laws are on the left, I’m in green, and that handsome guy on the right is Tim! {or Remodeling Guy}  🙂

What a wonderful place to spend a birthday!

Have you ever seen the flower show at Epcot?  I love botanical gardens, too.  Do you have any cool ones near you?

What great photos! My husband and I enjoy botanical gardens too. Wherever we vacation we try to find a garden to check out. Your photos remind me of our trip to the Rose Bowl parade this last Jan. After the parade you can go look at the floats up close and personal. It’s amazing how many flowers they put on those floats. I have a few photos of the floats on my Facebook page if you want to look at them: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=34071&id=139514229420211 Thanks for sharing your photos.

Those are beautiful photos Amy! I’ve always wanted to see that parade. I think we’ll have to make a special trip just to do that one year. I never knew they let you walk around them!

Hope to go back and visit soon before it’s over!

Wonderful photos! Our family has a few favorites here in NC. The JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State is our favorite, also Duke Gardens in Durham and of course the Biltmore Estate in Asheville.
