You can turn a plain old cabinet into something useful and pretty!

The color is so cheerful that it makes me happy just looking at it. It can be customized to work for your favorite crafts and closed up when your done. This will keep all those little hands off your scissors!

This is one smart storage idea for small houses! I love it! What do you think?

I stumbled upon Little Pink Studio the other day…Wow! This studio is full of one pretty thing after another! Everywhere you look there’s something new to discover.

Let me share a few photos from her blog…

I know you all love this look as much as I do! I’m inspired just seeing the photo!

Cerri is so talented! You can find some of her goodies in her Etsy shop full of cute little embellishments, ribbons, and other little treasures!

Don’t you want this display case?? I know I do! It works perfectly for all her little pretties, and she can quickly find just what she needs to fill her orders.

Pretty, just plain pretty! It’s an art to be able to store supplies in sight and have them add to the beauty of the room at the same time.

I don’t really have that talent, but maybe some will rub off on me one day!

Some of you might have visited Cathe Holden’s blog…Just Something I Made. I’ve always enjoyed her creative projects and ideas, but I had no idea she had such an awesome studio!

Let me show you around…

I think I could hear you say “WOW” from way over here! I understand. I have a thing for little containers, drawers, baskets…you name it. This is like a dream world to me!

Oh, and what about the twine? I need twine!

Some people have a talent for keeping everything organized in a beautiful way…Cathe is one of them, don’t you think?

LOVE IT!

We have cigar boxes around here, but I never thought about adding labels…and I think I need more of them! What a great idea!

Storing all your scrapbooking supplies can be a challenge. Here’s a few simple ideas to help you store your scrapbooking goodies in some pretty handy ways!

Don’t you love this ribbon on the roll? Just hang a small rod and add you ribbon! You can even sort by color or pattern…whatever makes you happy.

Store colorful pieces of ribbons and embellishments in glass jars. It’s easy and pretty, without spending a ton of money. You can reuse jars from baby food or spaghetti sauce jars!

It’s all about paper in this area. An inspiration board on the wall and stacked cubes filled with your favorite paper and card stock. You can purchase these cubes at craft store everywhere…so get stacking!

Line a drawer with this nonslip drawer liner and keep punches in one spot and easy to find.

Don’t waste that space under your cabinets! Install rolling drawers to help you organize and store more supplies within your reach.

Display your stamps on the wall where you can see them. They look great and you’ll always know what you have within seconds.  Small tins help keep your tiny supplies in order.

Turn your supplies into great craft room decor! Don’t you love this fun and useful retro-inspired scale?

I love to find great new ways to organize all my craft supplies. Having an Etsy shop keeps me busy, and I like to have everything where I can find it. Why not organize it in a pretty way? Here’s some great ideas that I ran across the other day. I know there are some scrapbooking fanatics out there that this might help!

Give your space a creative feel by displaying some of your stamps on small, shallow shelves. These can be found in so many stores, and they’re easy to hang up. If you need help…just ask the Remodeling Guy!

Do you remember what a Rolodex is? You can reuse an old one to hold your metal dies. Just slip them into clear card protectors and organize them by letter. Now that’s organized!

Store your digital images so they’re easy to find, and they don’t end up lost forever on your computer. {Not that I would know anything about that.}

Make an index of the images on the discs and place them in jewel cases for easy access! This is a major time saving idea here!  I’m always searching for photos.

Do you have trouble storing all your stamps? Keep all the unmounted stamps in an inexpensive three-ring binder. This will keep them all in one spot and easy to find. You could even put tabs to keep them sorted into catagories.

Here’s an inexpensive way to organize your ribbon…a floss container. This is great for the tiny pieces that you have leftover from other projects. Wrap them around paper spools and sort them by color or patterns. Now they won’t be lost or damaged when you need them.

Oh, how pretty! I love the idea of storing small buttons and embellishments in clear jars on a spice rack. Pretty, pretty, pretty!

I always love ribbons and buttons displayed in glass jars. I found some like these for less than a dollar each at a thrift store the other day. Why buy something new when these olders ones have so much character? Using glass containers makes your “pretty things” easy to find, and turns them into beautiful craft room decor.

I hope you found something you can use to help you organize you supplies. Keep your crafting fun by storing your supplies in creative ways.

I found a scrapbook studio that I know you’re going to enjoy! Even if you don’t do much scrapbooking you have to feel inspired by the beauty of Lisa Brown’s creative space.

I love the colors and I want those Coke bottles…how fun!

Pretty, pretty, pretty! What a nice big table to spread out everything you’re working on. And you could even leave it there until you finish instead of cleaning it up because you’re working on the dining room table and it’s time to eat! Just sayin’!

I’ve never thought about adding a table runner to the top of a cabinet like this. It looks beautiful! And you’ve gotta want to play with all the goodies in those spice racks!

She keeps scraps of fabric in these hanging bags. What a great idea!

Working in a closet might not be all bad if it looks like this!

What an inspiring example of how to get creative and make a small space useful and way fun!

This is one of those pictures I could stare at for awhile and still find new details. Here are a few of the things I noticed that really make this craft closet special:

• Pegboard on the back of the door is a brilliant storage idea because it takes-up zero useful space when not in-use, yet is perfectly accessible and pretty when needed!
• Opposite the pegboard, is a nice big door panel for posting calendars, notes, and little tid-bits of inspiring paraphernalia.
• That wallpaper in the back is beautiful! I wouldn’t otherwise like such a large pattern, but the way it is broken up with the desk and shelves just makes it perfect!
• I’m totally down with the make-your-own-desk-from-a-pair-of-file-cabinets plan.
• Having the whole space a color all it’s own makes it look like a completely different room. And the color is very pretty! I think we have that shade here on the blog!

And when you’re done being creative and productive, just close the doors and turn your attention to the next part of the day. I’m sure I would have a little skip in my step from just being in such a great little space!

Aren’t craft room photos inspiring? I can always use creative organization ideas to help me control my crafting chaos and make my supplies look a little prettier at the same time.

Sometimes the rooms are so spacious and maybe even bigger than you would need in the first place. If you don’t have a room of your own, why not have a craft desk?

This is a cute little desk, and I like how they added space for supplies with the cubby shelf on top. You could even attach a shelf to the wall for fabric. You gotta have a spot for all your fabric, right?

I have a desk something like this one that I found at Goodwill for $15! I’ll be sure to show you some photos when I’m done, but let’s just say mine is a bit more colorful.

Take an old beverage cart and give it a fresh new look with some paint, baskets, and a little cork board! Add a stool and you’ve got yourself a rolling craft station. How fun!

A tall hutch above this narrow desk provides floor-to-ceiling craft supply storage! Isn’t it pretty? It keeps all your supplies within your reach and looking good!

So, don’t waste all that space above your desk…go up!

This is a fabulous idea for the corner of a guest bedroom! A nice little corner craft area with a secret! Do you know what it is?

There’s lots of shelf space with plenty of room for supplies all gathered in jars and bins so nice.

But, there’s something else…

You can close it up to look like this!

Recycling can be a beautiful thing! These soup cans were decorated with scrap paper and screwed to the wall for this great look! And you don’t even need to take up space on your desk or table.

Little Buttercup’s Studio repurposed an old tool drawer for her sewing supplies. I had one when I was in high school to hold my beads…lots of beads. I love the way this looks, don’t you?

There are so many great uses for jars, and this is one of my favorites! Just screw the jar lid to the bottom of a shelf for this fabulous storage solution!

Nest Full of Eggs has a ton of creative ideas for recycling jars! These are beautiful!

Finding new uses for vintage items is a great way to organize your supplies while decorating with style. Did you see the post last week about vintage organizing?

Recycling and repurposing are two ways to save some green and be green at the same time. Ya gotta love that!

More storage container ideas:

1. Jars, baby food jars, jelly jars, any kind of jars!

Sometimes there’s just a little scrap of your favorite fabrics left and you would hate to part with them. I understand. Throwing them away doesn’t always seem like an option!

Take a look at a few ideas I found for those scraps…let’s decorate with them!

Apartment Therapy featured this beautiful wall display of embroidery hoops. Think about just how easy this would be to duplicate in your home using your favorite fabrics. Sometime you can find these embroidery hoops at garage sales for super cheap. Buy them all and you can decorate a wall in minutes!

Lindamade has a tutorial for this colorful scrap wreath. It hangs on her studio wall. After seeing this I might never throw away a scrap of fabric again!

Bella Dia made stunning fabric panels out of her fabric collection. I love the different sizes. You might want to stop over there and see more photos of her studio.

I know some people are talented enough to make quilts…that takes a ton of scraps. One day I’ll have to try that.
