<p>Storing all your scrapbooking supplies can be a challenge.<strong> Here&#8217;s a few simple ideas to help you store your scrapbooking goodies</strong> in some pretty handy ways!</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t you love this ribbon on the roll? Just hang a small rod and add you ribbon! You can even sort by color or pattern&#8230;whatever makes you happy.</p>
<p>Store colorful pieces of ribbons and embellishments in glass jars. It&#8217;s easy and pretty, without spending a ton of money. <strong>You can reuse jars from baby food or spaghetti sauce jars!</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/ss-100489658.jpg" alt="ss 100489658" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p>It&#8217;s all about paper in this area. An inspiration board on the wall and stacked cubes filled with your favorite paper and card stock. <strong>You can purchase these cubes at craft store everywhere&#8230;so get stacking!</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/ss-100489637.jpg" alt="ss 100489637" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p>Line a drawer with this nonslip drawer liner and keep punches in one spot and easy to find.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/ss-100489660.jpg" alt="ss 100489660" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t waste that space under your cabinets! </strong>Install rolling drawers to help you organize and store more supplies within your reach.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/ss-100489655.jpg" alt="ss 100489655" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p>Display your stamps on the wall where you can see them. <strong>They look great </strong>and you&#8217;ll always know what you have within seconds.  Small tins help keep your tiny supplies in order.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/ss-100489641.jpg" alt="ss 100489641" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p><strong>Turn your supplies into great craft room decor!</strong> Don&#8217;t you love this fun and useful retro-inspired scale?</p>
<p>These storage ideas can help you keep you scrapbooking goodies under control and looking great at the same time.</p>
<p><strong>It&#8217;s easy to be creative in a beautifully organized space!</strong></p>

<p>I love to find great new ways to organize all my craft supplies. Having an <a href="http://www.flashyfish.etsy.com">Etsy shop</a> keeps me busy, and I like to have everything where I can find it. Why not organize it in a pretty way? Here&#8217;s some great ideas that I ran across the other day. I know there are some scrapbooking fanatics out there that this might help!</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100428064.jpg" alt="ss 100428064" width="450" height="450" /></p>
<p>Give your space a creative feel by displaying some of your stamps on small, shallow shelves. These can be found in so many stores, and they&#8217;re easy to hang up. If you need help&#8230;just ask the <a href="http://www.remodellingguy.net">Remodeling Guy!</a></p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100487955.jpg" alt="ss 100487955" width="450" height="450" /></p>
<p>Do you remember what a Rolodex is? You can reuse an old one to hold your metal dies. Just slip them into clear card protectors and organize them by letter. Now that&#8217;s organized!</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100399370.jpg" alt="ss 100399370" width="450" height="499" /></p>
<p>Store your digital images so they&#8217;re easy to find, and they don&#8217;t end up lost forever on your computer. {Not that I would know anything about that.}</p>
<p>Make an index of the images on the discs and place them in jewel cases for easy access! This is a major time saving idea here!  I&#8217;m always searching for photos.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100428059.jpg" alt="ss 100428059" width="450" height="375" /></p>
<p>Do you have trouble storing all your stamps? Keep all the unmounted stamps in an inexpensive three-ring binder. This will keep them all in one spot and easy to find. You could even put tabs to keep them sorted into catagories.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100902003.jpg" alt="ss 100902003" width="450" height="499" /></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s an inexpensive way to organize your ribbon&#8230;a floss container. This is great for the tiny pieces that you have leftover from other projects. Wrap them around paper spools and sort them by color or patterns. Now they won&#8217;t be lost or damaged when you need them.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100489650.jpg" alt="ss 100489650" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p>Oh, how pretty! I love the idea of storing small buttons and embellishments in clear jars on a spice rack. Pretty, pretty, pretty!</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ss-100901996.jpg" alt="ss 100901996" width="450" height="499" /></p>
<p>I always love ribbons and buttons displayed in glass jars. I found some like these for less than a dollar each at a thrift store the other day. Why buy something new when these olders ones have so much character? Using glass containers makes your &#8220;pretty things&#8221; easy to find, and turns them into beautiful craft room decor.</p>
<p>I hope you found something you can use to help you organize you supplies. Keep your crafting fun by storing your supplies in creative ways.</p>
<p>How do you organize your &#8220;craft stuff?&#8221;</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Working in a closet might not be all bad if it looks like this!</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/image-172.jpg" alt="Image" hspace="2" width="460" height="360" /></p>
<p>What an inspiring example of how to get creative and make a small space useful and way fun!</p>
<p>This is one of those pictures I could stare at for awhile and still find new details. Here are a few of the things I noticed that really make this craft closet special:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong><span style="color: #96d4df;"><em>Pegboard</em></span></strong> on the back of the door is a brilliant storage idea because it takes-up zero useful space when not in-use, yet is perfectly accessible and pretty when needed!</li>
<li>Opposite the pegboard, is a nice big door panel for posting calendars, notes, and little tid-bits of <strong><span style="color: #96d4df;"><em>inspiring paraphernalia</em>.</span></strong></li>
<li><strong><span style="color: #96d4df;"><em>That wallpaper</em></span></strong> in the back is beautiful! I wouldn&#8217;t otherwise like such a large pattern, but the way it is broken up with the desk and shelves just makes it perfect!</li>
<li>I&#8217;m totally down with the <strong><span style="color: #96d4df;"><em>make-your-own-desk-from-a-pair-of-file-cabinets</em></span></strong> plan.</li>
<li>Having the whole space a <strong><span style="color: #96d4df;"><em>color</em></span></strong> all it&#8217;s own makes it look like a completely different room. And the color is very pretty! I think we have that shade here on the blog!</li>
</ul>
<p>And when you&#8217;re done being creative and productive, just close the doors and turn your attention to the next part of the day. <strong>I&#8217;m sure I would have a little skip in my step from just being in such a great little space!</strong></p>
<p><em>What about you? What kind of little things do you look for in an inspiring work area?</em></p>
<p><em>~Kim</em></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.</em></p>
<p>We have more <a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/category/art-studios/">Craft Room Inspiration</a> here.</p>
<p>{We&#8217;d love to see pictures of your space! You can post photos of your work or your work area on our <a href="http://www.facebook.com/everythingetsy">Facebook Page</a>. Just write on our wall and attach a photo!}</p>

<p><strong>Aren&#8217;t craft room photos inspiring?</strong> I can always use creative organization ideas to help me control my crafting chaos and make my supplies look a little prettier at the same time.</p>
<p>Sometimes the rooms are so spacious and maybe even bigger than you would need in the first place. <strong>If you don&#8217;t have a room of your own, why not have a craft desk?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/ss_101207494.jpg" alt="ss 101207494" width="300" height="300" /></p>
<p>This is a cute little desk, and I like how they added space for supplies with the cubby shelf on top. You could even attach a shelf to the wall for fabric. <em>You gotta have a spot for all your fabric, right?</em></p>
<p>I have a desk something like this one that I found at Goodwill for <strong>$15</strong>! I&#8217;ll be sure to show you some photos when I&#8217;m done, but let&#8217;s just say mine is a bit more colorful.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/ss_101202471.jpg" alt="ss 101202471" width="300" height="333" /></p>
<p>Take an <strong>old beverage cart</strong> and give it a fresh new look with some paint, baskets, and a little cork board! Add a stool and you&#8217;ve got yourself a rolling craft station. <strong>How fun!</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/ss_101339656.jpg" alt="ss 101339656" width="300" height="333" /></p>
<p>A tall hutch above this narrow desk provides floor-to-ceiling craft supply storage! Isn&#8217;t it pretty? It keeps all your supplies within your reach and looking good!</p>
<p><strong>So, don&#8217;t waste all that space above your desk&#8230;go up! </strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/mla103724_0408_guest02_l-1.jpg" alt="mla103724 0408 guest02 l" width="250" height="312" /></p>
<p>This is a fabulous idea for the corner of a guest bedroom! A nice little corner craft area <strong>with a secret</strong>! <em>Do you know what it is?</em></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/screenhunter_07mar.3016.35.gif" alt="ScreenHunter 07 Mar. 30 16" width="250" height="312" /></p>
<p>There&#8217;s lots of shelf space with plenty of room for supplies all gathered in jars and bins so nice.</p>
<p><strong>But, there&#8217;s something else&#8230;</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/screenhunter_06mar.3016.35.gif" alt="ScreenHunter 06 Mar. 30 16" width="250" height="309" /></p>
<p><strong>You can close it up to look like this!</strong></p>
<p><em>It&#8217;s really <strong>two bookcases</strong> that close up to hide all your supplies and look beautiful for your guests!</em> You can find more photos and information on this at <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com:80/article/clever-office-hidden-space" target="_blank">MarthaStewart.com</a>.</p>

<p><strong>Which idea is your favorite?</strong> <em>What&#8217;s your craft area like? I&#8217;d love to hear about it!</em></p>

<p><strong>Take a look at a few ideas I found for those scraps&#8230;let&#8217;s decorate with them!</strong></p>

<p><a href="http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/chicago/how-to/how-to-use-leftover-fabric-scraps-041016" target="_blank">Apartment Therapy</a> featured this beautiful wall display of embroidery hoops. <strong>Think about just how easy this would be to duplicate in your home using your favorite fabrics.</strong> Sometime you can find these embroidery hoops at garage sales for super cheap. Buy them all and you can decorate a wall in minutes!</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/scrap1.jpg" alt="scrap1" width="450" height="599" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.lindamade.com/wordpress/2008/11/the-shop-is-open/" target="_blank">Lindamade</a> has a tutorial for this colorful scrap wreath. It hangs on her studio wall. After seeing this I might never throw away a scrap of fabric again!</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/studio_fabric_wall_decor_4.jpg" alt="studio fabric wall decor 4" width="450" height="432" /></p>
<p><a href="http://belladia.typepad.com/bella_dia/2006/08/fabric_panels.html" target="_blank">Bella Dia</a> made stunning fabric panels out of her fabric collection. I love the different sizes. You might want to stop over there and see more photos of her studio.</p>
<p><strong>If you haven&#8217;t seen the fabric scrap baskets in the post on fabric storage&#8230;</strong><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/?p=1540"><strong>check it out</strong></a><strong>. They&#8217;re really cute! </strong></p>
<p>I know some people are talented enough to make quilts&#8230;that takes a ton of scraps. One day I&#8217;ll have to try that.</p>
<p><strong>What do you do with fabric scraps? Have you seen some cute ideas&#8230;leave a link! </strong></p>
