<p>I thought I’d share some creative ideas I found when searching for new ways to organize my own space.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/5597091675_2e046822ca.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="5597091675_2e046822ca" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/5597091675_2e046822ca_thumb.jpg" alt="5597091675_2e046822ca" width="490" height="490" border="0" /></a></p>
<p><strong>1.  Painted pastel glass jars</strong> are awesome for holding all your pencils, markers and paint brushes!  Check out this great tutorial at <a href="http://www.kootutmurut.com/2011/04/07/painting-pastel-glass-jars/">kootut murut</a>!  Reuse those old jars and make one-of-a-kind beauties like these in any color you want!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/284712007662455137_Bjz5YBTq_c.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="284712007662455137_Bjz5YBTq_c" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/284712007662455137_Bjz5YBTq_c_thumb.jpg" alt="284712007662455137_Bjz5YBTq_c" width="490" height="640" border="0" /></a></p>
<p><strong>2.  Craftaholics Anonymous</strong> has a beautiful new craft room and the way she organizes her fabric is FABULOUS!!!  Don’t you love the way the it hangs where you can see it?!  I hate to take beautiful fabric and stash it in a box or basket.  This is so much more inspiring!  You can see all the creative details of this crafty space <a href="http://www.craftaholicsanonymous.net/2011/11/my-craft-room.html?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FBLeF+%28Craftaholics+Anonymous%29">here</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/P1060542.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="P1060542" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/P1060542_thumb.jpg" alt="P1060542" width="490" height="372" border="0" /></a></p>
<p><strong>3.</strong>  Create your own <strong>Sewing Thread Organizer!</strong>  Now that’s organized!!!  You should see me with my basket of thread…it’s really kinda scary.  <strong>The Creative Homemaker</strong> explains all the details <a href="http://creativehomemakers.blogspot.com/2011/01/sewing-thread-holder.html">here</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/CIMG3247kl.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="CIMG3247kl" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/CIMG3247kl_thumb.jpg" alt="CIMG3247kl" width="490" height="372" border="0" /></a></p>
<p><strong>4.  Shabby Chic tin cans </strong>are one of my favorite finds ever!  Check out <a href="http://shabbychicinspired.blogspot.com/2011/09/tin-can-caddy.html">Shabby Chic Inspired</a> for more information on these sweet shabby organizers created from basic tin cans.  They are stunning!</p>

<p><strong>5.</strong>  <strong>Display your supplies</strong> and keep them in reach and as pretty craft room decor at the same time…I love this look!  {<a href="http://lamaisondannag.blogspot.com/2012/01/bloomingville-2012-un-interview.html">Lamaison d’Anna G</a>}</p>

<p><strong>Linda from </strong><a href="http://www.craftaholicsanonymous.net/"><strong>Craftaholics Anonymous</strong></a><strong> just created this crisp, clean and completely awesome craft room of her very own.</strong>  Wow!  Wouldn’t you like to be her neighbor?  I would.  I could bring my own supplies and hang out there anytime!</p>
<p>Did you notice the yellow chandelier?  I’m a sucker for a spray painted chandelier and I think every room should have one…at least in my dream world.  My boys would never go for that idea!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/craftroom2.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="craft-room2" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/craftroom2_thumb.jpg" alt="craft-room2" width="470" height="705" border="0" /></a></p>
<p>This stenciled wall is way cool {thanks to her husband} and looks even better with the pop of color around the room.  I love her color selection, but if you read <a href="http://www.craftaholicsanonymous.net/2011/11/my-craft-room.html">Craftaholics Anonymous</a> you would know that she has killer decorating skills!</p>
<p><strong>The colorful inspiration board is crafted from an old crib spring…LOVE IT!  </strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/20111120craftroomsneakpeek2.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="2011-11-20-craft-room-sneak-peek2" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/20111120craftroomsneakpeek2_thumb.jpg" alt="2011-11-20-craft-room-sneak-peek2" width="470" height="223" border="0" /></a></p>
<p>Linda did a fabulous job planning her craft room and it seems perfectly functional and beautiful at the same time.  There’s plenty of room and great details.</p>
<p>To read the whole post and see all the beautiful photos of this lovely crafter’s paradise, just <a href="http://www.craftaholicsanonymous.net/2011/11/my-craft-room.html">click here</a>.</p>
<p>You might want to grab a cup of coffee or tea first because you’ll get lost for awhile on her creative blog…trust me!</p>
<p><strong>What’s your favorite part of this crafty space? </strong></p>
<p>~Kim</p>

<p>Sometimes I feature large, beautiful craft studios that you would need an extra room in your house to even get started. Well, this one can be done in most homes&#8230;a crafty laundry room!</p>
<p>There&#8217;s plenty of work space with lots of storage area. Cabinets and drawers are everywhere. Think of great stuff you could stash away in them!</p>
<p>The chalkboard is great for inspiration, notes to yourself, or even a list of what you need to buy. Don&#8217;t you ALWAYS have a list? I know I do!</p>
<p>The ribbon holder is pretty and functional&#8230;gotta love that!</p>
<p><strong>Many homes have enough room for a craft area like this.  Take a look around your home and create a little spot for all your creating!</strong></p>

<p><strong>This is a dream craft studio for sure!</strong> Working with these colors all around you would make anyone feel like creating something beautiful.  I know I could work in here all day and night!</p>
<p>The perfect shade of blue on the walls and all that fabric stacked just so, make me want to learn to sew! And I have no idea what I would do with all this fabric, but just looking at it works for me.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/6a00d8341c5c8953ef0112790d304428a4-400wi.jpg" alt="6a00d8341c5c8953ef0112790d304428a4-400wi" width="450" height="328" /></p>
<p>The one area would be enough for me, but look at the rest of this amazing room. Wow! Honestly&#8230;I&#8217;m in love!</p>
<p>Each area is just as beautiful as the next. Yet, it&#8217;s not just a pretty room, it&#8217;s functional!  The nice, large tables give you plenty of room to work.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/6a00d8341c5c8953ef0112790d2d1f28a4-400wi.jpg" alt="6a00d8341c5c8953ef0112790d2d1f28a4-400wi" width="450" height="414" /></p>
<p>Jenny has a beautiful craft studio that you can see more of on her blog, <a href="http://www.allsorts.typepad.com/" target="_blank">Allsorts</a>! Everything she makes is such eye candy.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/screenhunter-02apr282050.gif" alt="ScreenHunter 02 Apr. 28 20" width="450" height="129" /></p>
<p>I couldn&#8217;t show you her studio without telling you about some of the neat things in her Etsy shop, <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5641255" target="_blank">Loopsies</a>.  It&#8217;s full of very cute things.</p>
<p>She just finished making this beautiful embroidery set&#8230;The Wedding.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/screenhunter-01apr282049-1.gif" alt="ScreenHunter 01 Apr. 28 20" width="450" height="355" /></p>
<p>Jenny B. Harris is also a children&#8217;s book illustrator.</p>
<p><strong>She&#8217;s an all-around amazingly talented person, that&#8217;s what she is!</strong></p>
<p>Maybe there&#8217;s some idea in her beautiful room that would work for your craft area.  It doesn&#8217;t matter how big of a space you have to work with, you can still make it beautiful!  A splash of color in your room  is sure to make crafting more fun!</p>
<p>Would this beautiful room work for you?</p>

<p><strong> Take a look at these dreamy areas for kids to use their imaginations and be creative. </strong> It’s so much better than a room full of video games, don’t you think?</p>
<p>This crafty area above is super cheerful and the shelves can be adjusted later when you want to update the room as they grow.  What a fun spot!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/61471836_PXh2pFK3_c.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border-width: 0px;" title="61471836_PXh2pFK3_c" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/61471836_PXh2pFK3_c_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="61471836_PXh2pFK3_c" width="470" height="470" /></a></p>
<p>This is a great little space to have right in their bedroom.  I love the containers of pencils and such and the robot decals add a cute touch for sure!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/ScreenHunter_01Jul.1023.10.gif"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border-width: 0px;" title="ScreenHunter_01 Jul. 10 23.10" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/ScreenHunter_01Jul.1023.10_thumb.gif" border="0" alt="ScreenHunter_01 Jul. 10 23.10" width="470" height="304" /></a></p>
<p><strong> This one would be perfect for kids or adults</strong>…I want that peg board in a pretty color like this!  There’s room for two to create here and I’m sure lots of creative ideas bloom right here.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/61475166_b5Y6Oaem_c.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border-width: 0px;" title="61475166_b5Y6Oaem_c" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/61475166_b5Y6Oaem_c_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="61475166_b5Y6Oaem_c" width="470" height="627" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Isn’t this beautiful?!</strong> I would never think to use a bench with pillows and there’s plenty of room to spread out.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/5143_crafting_table_hd.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border-width: 0px;" title="5143_crafting_table_hd" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/5143_crafting_table_hd_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="5143_crafting_table_hd" width="470" height="588" /></a></p>
<p>You can make a space like this with storage cubes or a bookshelf on each end with an oilcloth covered sheet of plywood for the top.  It’s quick, easy and CUTE!</p>
<p>I’m always sharing inspiring craft areas for us, but I hope you enjoyed a little change this time.  <strong>Did you have an fun spot to create in when you were young?</strong> I used to spend so much time out on our back porch with some kind of colored pencils or markers {I always like new ones…they made me happy!}.</p>
<p><strong>I’d love to hear about your creative childhood!</strong></p>
<p>~Kim</p>

<p>You are going to love this dreamy craft room <span style="color: #008000;"><strong>all the way from Japan</strong></span>!  I don’t even know how I found <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/cottonblue">Cotton Blue</a> this today, but it made my morning looking at her beautiful photos!</p>
<p>I have a love of <strong>all </strong>distressed furniture and when you paint it in lovely shades of blue and green my heart goes all <em>pitter patter</em>!</p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;"><strong>Here’s the recipe for a beautiful craft room…</strong></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_01Oct.1311.49.gif"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="ScreenHunter_01 Oct. 13 11.49" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_01Oct.1311.49_thumb.gif" border="0" alt="ScreenHunter_01 Oct. 13 11.49" width="470" height="513" /></a></p>
<p>Start with some amazing fabric all stacked and ready to use…</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_04Oct.1311.56.gif"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="ScreenHunter_04 Oct. 13 11.56" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_04Oct.1311.56_thumb.gif" border="0" alt="ScreenHunter_04 Oct. 13 11.56" width="470" height="606" /></a></p>
<p>Throw in lots and lots of it with ribbon, a dash of lace, and a sprinkle of other fun goodies…</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_05Oct.1311.58.gif"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="ScreenHunter_05 Oct. 13 11.58" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_05Oct.1311.58_thumb.gif" border="0" alt="ScreenHunter_05 Oct. 13 11.58" width="470" height="330" /></a></p>
<p>Add an amazing desk to work at…</p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;"><strong>And you get this fabulous craft room that’s out-of-this-world spectacular!</strong></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_02Oct.1311.50.gif"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="ScreenHunter_02 Oct. 13 11.50" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ScreenHunter_02Oct.1311.50_thumb.gif" border="0" alt="ScreenHunter_02 Oct. 13 11.50" width="470" height="362" /></a></p>
<p>You can all stop drooling now and head over to her <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/cottonblue">Etsy shop</a> {currently on vacation&#8230;sorry} where you’ll find tons of pretty things that you NEED.</p>

<p>Vana Chupp’s studio has such a clean and modern feel!  She’s the creator of the lovely <a href="http://www.lepapierstudio.com/">Le Papier Studio</a> full of treasured silhouettes on everything you can imagine.  Vana moved from her home studio into her new space in 2010 and is enjoying the change.</p>
<p><strong>Don’t you love looking at dreamy studios like this?</strong> I wish I could have a few so I could work in the one that best suits my mood.  A girl can dream, right?!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/artwall1.jpg"><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;" title="art-wall-1" src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/artwall1_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="art-wall-1" width="470" height="384" /></a></p>
<p><strong>The grey walls are a perfect backdrop for her art!</strong> It really makes them pop!</p>
<p>Vana has a wonderful <a href="http://lepapierstudio.com/-c-141/silhouette-art-by-vana-chupp-p-238">new book</a> you won’t want to miss.  It’s great to see creative women sharing their talent and creative ideas more and more.  Martha Stewart watch out!</p>

<p><strong>I love all the shelves!</strong> I could use a different section for each project I’m working on these days!  It seems like I never have enough time to complete something all at one time.  I know I’m not alone with that!</p>

</p><p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ss-100489714.jpg" alt="ss 100489714" width="450" height="499" /></p>
<p>Do you have limited space and scrapbooking supplies taking over your house?</p>
<p>Maybe you could turn a spare closet into something like this one. Having everything so neat and organized will make scrapbooking even more fun. Here are a few of my favorite features, and they&#8217;re all so easy to do on your own.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ss-100489706.jpg" alt="ss 100489706" width="450" height="600" /></p>
<p>Using pegboard can really make the most out a space that&#8217;s usually forgotten. Adjustable shelves make things so much easier when you want to change it around a bit later on.</p>
<p><img src="http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ss-100489710.jpg" alt="ss 100489710" width="450" height="450" /></p>
<p>Put every inch of the closet to good use with cork trivets from a kitchen and bath store. They make a fun llittle bulletin board that&#8217;s perfect for inspiring ideas. Trivets are thick and can easily be mounted with foam tape.</p>

<p>Hanging folders are a great use of space. Organizing paper by season or color can make it easy to see what you have before you run off to the store to buy more. <em>Hey, this is a <strong>money saving idea</strong> here! Now you can explain to your husband how this closet will <strong>save</strong> money and he should help you do it this weekend! <img src='http://www.everythingetsy.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </em></p>
<p><strong>Have fun!</strong></p>
