I’ve had mine for about 3 weeks and I love it! Got this one because it was a good $200 cheaper than an SLR and it had good reviews. It’s close enough to an SLR though, that a lot of the tutorials online can still apply to it. I’m still learning though, and not every picture is pure gold, so if anyone has any pointers please let me know!

This is so helpful as I’m in the market for a really good, quality camera for my blog, and everyday photos of the littles. Thank you! And those product pictures you used as example shots have peaked my curiosity!!! Where do you find those cute felt-looking pouches, and what’s the yellow and white in the jar??!!!

Thank you for posting your comments. I have used the G5 for several months and find it to be an amazing camera in what it is capable of producing. It is reasonably small and lightweight. The lens selection that is available for it is fabulous.

I recommend it highly.
